Yeremay remains without minutes due to groin injury
The Canary is the only Deportivo player without participation in preseason after recovering from an injury carried over from last season.
Yeremay Hernández traveled with Deportivo to the European training camp intending to integrate with the squad, but without guarantees of getting minutes in friendlies. According to *Sport*, the Canary has completed sessions at Coverciano, but was not included in the squads for matches against Fiorentina and Genoa.
Following the groin injury that affected him last season, the club opted not to rush his recovery. He started preseason in the gym and with solo work on the pitch, gradually integrating with the group. While David Mella and Miguel Loureiro have already made their friendly debuts, Yeremay remains without playing a single minute across six matches.
His next chance comes with the Teresa Herrera Trophy this Wednesday against Real Madrid, although Deportivo's priority is the player's full recovery ahead of the league start. The club will need to see him on the pitch without risking further complications.
