Angeliño returns to Deportivo on loan from Roma

Angeliño officially rejoins Deportivo de A Coruña. Left-back José Ángel Esmorís closes the circle after departing Riazor for Manchester City's youth ranks in 2012 and touring Europe's biggest stages: City, PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig, Galatasaray, and Roma.

The move materializes as a loan from AS Roma, with the Galician club retaining a purchase option for next season. According to MARCA, Angeliño arrives to compete for the left-back position with Giacomo Quagliata under Antonio Hidalgo's management.

The blanquiazul club stresses the special nature of this return in its statement: "After touring some of European football's most important stages, Angeliño comes home. To the city and shield where he took his first steps." The Coruña native never hid his desire to wear Deportivo's first-team shirt—a dream realized nearly 15 years later.
