Arsenal are back in pursuit of Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa with an improved proposal after having a previous bid rejected.
Arsenal are refusing to give up on Ezri Konsa. According to The Guardian, citing the Daily Mail, the Gunners have returned with a boosted offer for the English defender at Aston Villa after Birmingham rejected an initial bid last month.
The club value the international defender at a minimum of £60 million, and he has become one of the top priorities for the Premier League champions. The move comes as Aston Villa struggle to hold on to their star assets following the World Cup.
While the Konsa situation develops, Villa are also active in the market themselves: they are negotiating a £14 million deal with Atlético Madrid for Italian left-back Matteo Ruggeri.
