Dani Tasende returns as Albacete host Córdoba; El Jebari out

Córdoba CF face Albacete this Friday at Estadio Carlos Belmonte in LaLiga Hypermotion 2026-2027’s sixth round, with both sides desperate for points. As Sport reports, the visitors sit near the bottom with three points (so far one win and four defeats), while Albacete are yet to win and will try to end that run from the penultimate spot.

Dani Tasende available

From the medical side, Sport notes good news for Córdoba: Dani Tasende is available after tests ruled out any injury problem. He had started the week with concerns after missing part of the Almería match, but the outcome of the checks leaves him fit to be included.

The only expected absence in Iván Ania’s squad is Salim El Jebari. Sport adds that Ania was clear in the pre-match: “He has to complete more training sessions at one hundred percent with the team. Still, on some tasks he got out of it; he needs more workload…”. The same report suggests his first return could come in the next league game against Real Valladolid at José Zorrilla, after he has overcome his pubalgia.

Albacete have a stack of injuries

Sport also details several absences for Albacete: Vallejo, Pepe Sánchez, Rober, San Bartolomé, Capi, Obeng and Munir miss out. The boost for the hosts is the return of Álex Rubio, already cleared to play.

The match kicks off at 20:30, with Iosu Galech Apezteguía as the referee and Iván Caparrós Hernández on VAR, and Sport outlines two possible starting XIs for the encounter.
