Como spending 130m, second biggest investor in Italy behind Juve

Como have invested 130 million euros in reinforcements for their historic Champions League debut, only surpassed by Juventus in Italian football.

Como continue strengthening Cesc Fàbregas's squad ahead of their historic Champions League debut. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Lombard club has already spent 130 million euros on transfers, a figure only exceeded by Juventus in Italy with 137 million.

Half of that investment, 60 million, went towards bringing back Nico Paz after Real Madrid exercised their buyback option and sold him again. In recent hours, Como closed the signing of centre-back Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea for 30 million fixed plus 6 in variables, with a buyback clause for the Blues.

The club has also completed signings like Álvaro Morata (12 million), Luis Milla and Mattia Liberali (6 each), Kaiki (30 mandatory purchase), and is finalizing Yan Couto. Spending margin is virtually non-existent and the president warns: Financial Fair Play compliance is at risk, but "we'll pay the fine".
