Fenerbahce revives interest in Sorloth

The Turkish club returns to pursue the Atlético striker after the failed Juventus operation.

Negotiations between Alexander Sorloth and Juventus stalled a month ago due to changes in the Italian club's management, but the Norwegian striker is back on the market. According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Fenerbahce has renewed its long-standing interest in the 30-year-old forward for the winter transfer window.

Atlético Madrid has set an asking price of €40 million, a fee the Istanbul club appears willing to pay. However, convincing the player will be challenging: Sorloth is not enthusiastic about moving to Turkey and has set a salary demand of €12 million gross as a condition for departure.

Meanwhile, Trabzonspor has also shown interest in the Scandinavian striker in recent hours. The forward remains open to listening to offers provided they meet Atlético's expectations, though he continues training in Madrid while the team is in South Korea.
