Ferran Torres’ regret after PSG move: he couldn’t take Pedri

Ferran Torres keeps settling into Paris, and while he says adjustment is going well thanks to what happens on the pitch, he also admitted the hardest side of moving abroad. As RMC Sport reports, the Spanish forward spoke about it on El Hormiguero, just a few weeks after joining PSG from FC Barcelona.

Adjusting to life in Paris

Torres described the challenge of relocating suddenly to a different culture and language, and being farther from friends. In his account, he said footballers depend heavily on what’s happening during matches: when you’re performing, off-field problems shrink. Still, he acknowledged it can be tough outside the stadium—particularly this week, when moving homes from Barcelona made everything heavier.

Missing Pedri most

The most emotional moment came when he joked about what he couldn’t bring with him. He said “the only thing I couldn’t bring was Pedri”, adding that he already misses him a lot. RMC Sport also highlights how well they know each other: besides playing together for Spain, they were both European champions in 2024 and World champions this summer with the Roja, and they also shared time at Barcelona between 2022 and 2026, winning the national league three times.

Goals keep coming at PSG

On the field, things look bright. According to RMC Sport, Torres scored in the Clasico-style match PSG won 2-1 over Olympique de Marseille, and he now has seven goals from seven shots on target. He also confirmed a practical step for daily life in France: he has started taking French lessons.

Overall, adaptation is moving forward and goals are arriving, but one personal missing piece is still clearly felt.
