Juventus made the most of their main opportunity in the second half: Edon Zhegrova opened the scoring in the 68th minute following a brilliant Kenan Yildiz assist, who executed a perfectly weighted backheel between defenders. The Kosovan winger, operating in his preferred position, curled a shot from outside the box into the far corner.

With this victory, the Italians continue their strong preseason form with three wins and a draw. The return of Ukrainian Mykhailo Moudrik after more than a year and a half banned for doping was not enough for the Blues to level. Chelsea will look to bounce back against AC Milan on Saturday, while Juventus face Inter Milan the same day.
