LaLiga reports offensive chants in four matches of matchday 6
LaLiga sends a complaint to the RFEF and anti-violence bodies over offensive chants reported during Atlético-Osasuna, Barcelona-Racing, Betis-Getafe and Málaga-Sevilla.
LaLiga has filed a new complaint with the RFEF’s Competition Committee and the Anti-Violence Commission regarding offensive, intolerant and violence-inciting chants recorded during four games from matchday 6, as reported by MARCA.
In the written report, the league specifies the moments and stands where the insults were heard, with the clubs involved facing possible penalties. The conduct is categorized under the RFEF’s disciplinary code and Spain’s law against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport.
Chants with minute details
- Atlético de Madrid – CA Osasuna (16 September, Riyadh Air Metropolitano): in minutes 29 and 64 (lasting 10 seconds), fans in the Fondo Sur animation area sang “Todos a una, puta Osasuna”; in minutes 65 and 84, they chanted “Madridistas hijos de puta”; and at minute 68 the song “Salta pequeño Canguro y a los Madridistas que les den por el culo” was heard.
- FC Barcelona – Real Racing Club (16 September, Spotify Camp Nou): at minute 70, supporters from Grada Gol 1957 (Gol Sud, 20 to 24) sang in a coordinated way for 20 seconds: “Puta Real Madrid, puta Real Madrid”.
- Real Betis Balompié – Getafe CF (17 September, La Cartuja): at -1 and 45+2, chants included “¡Soria, cabrón, puta de Nervión!”; at minute 55, “¡La Giralda de nuestra ciudad… el equipo bastardo… el equipo de las putas del Pizjuán!”; at minute 60, a chant continued for 2 minutes; and at minute 70, fans directed a message to the referee with “¡Árbitro valiente, valiente hijo de puta!”.
Possible fines and partial closures
According to MARCA, the clubs named in the report could be hit with sanctions ranging from fines to partial stadium closures for the stands where the chants originated—Fondo Sur (at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and La Rosaleda), Gol Sud (Spotify Camp Nou) and Gol Sur Tribuna Baja (La Cartuja).
