Málaga: Juanfran Funes trains with six injury absences
Einar Galilea, Juan Cruz and others remain sidelined; Málaga rests for international duty and returns to training on Monday.
Málaga closed this Friday’s training week with several absences under Juanfran Funes. Einar Galilea and Juan Cruz continue a load-management plan after picking up injuries in the most recent match at Getafe and did not join the session.
Also missing were Aznou, Cajuste, Murillo, Aarón Ochoa and Lobete; the latter has recently undergone surgery for a serious knee injury: rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and the external meniscus, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
The squad will have the weekend off due to the international break and will return to training on Monday ahead of their LaLiga resumption versus Espanyol on October 9.
