Yanis Musuayi wore the Levante shirt for the first time, while Kervin Arriaga and Mathew Ryan made their appearances in summer friendlies.
Levante experienced a day of debuts in their preseason match against Villarreal at the José Manuel Llaneza training ground. Three players took to the pitch wearing the club's shirt for the first time during this summer period.
Yanis Musuayi, the young Belgian striker who recently joined, made his debut in Levante colors. The forward played twelve minutes in the encounter, with limited involvement in the play. Despite completing only two training sessions, coach Luis Castro brought him on as a substitute for Etta Eyong.
Meanwhile, Kervin Arriaga reappeared after training separately and missing three preseason matches due to an uncertain future. The Honduran midfielder returned to the squad and operated as a center-back. In addition, Mathew Ryan, the Australian goalkeeper who renewed through June, also featured after rejoining the group following his vacation. According to MARCA, Ryan was crucial to Levante's survival last season, making 36 competitive league appearances as the team's starter.
