England striker faces court appearance on September 24 following a nightclub incident in December.
Ivan Toney will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on September 24 charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following a nightclub incident on Wardour Street in London in December 2025, according to Sky Sports. The Al Ahli forward, who joined the Saudi club from Brentford for £40m in August 2024, has acknowledged the charge.
In a statement, Toney's representatives said: «Ivan acknowledges the charge and although he is naturally shocked, he looks forward to being given the opportunity to clear his name in court».
The timing presents a complication for England, who are scheduled to face World Cup winners Spain in a Nations League match at Wembley just two days after Toney's court appearance. The 30-year-old was a surprise inclusion in Thomas Tuchel's squad for this summer's tournament, where he appeared in the semi-final against Argentina and started the third-place play-off victory over France.
