Trabzonspor in talks to sign free agent Salah

Mohamed Salah has departed Liverpool following a nine-year spell and is now in advanced talks with Turkish side Trabzonspor. According to BBC Sport, the 34-year-old attacker will arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday before heading to Trabzon that evening to complete proceedings.

The «Black Sea Storm» aims to land one of world football's biggest names in recent years. Salah won four Premier League Golden Boots in red and was named PFA Player of the Year on three occasions (2018, 2022 and 2025). He accumulated 257 goals and 120 assists across 442 appearances for the Reds.

Trabzonspor, one of just six clubs to have won the Turkish Super Lig, seeks to strengthen after claiming their seventh league title in 2022, ending a 38-year drought.
