Marseille look to bounce back in Europe against Sturm Graz
After losing to Beşiktaş (1-4) and Olympiacos (0-1), Marseille need points at Sturm Graz to kick-start their Europa League run.
Marseille head into their Europa League match after two straight defeats: they were beaten by Beşiktaş 1-4 and lost to Olympiacos 0-1. As L'Équipe reports, the club wants to ride the confidence it has found in Ligue 1 into a better start in Europe.
The game is against Sturm Graz, and there’s an extra angle for the build-up: coach Bruno Genesio knows the Austrian side well. The immediate priority is to pick up points in Graz to keep the European campaign on track after those two setbacks.
