Manuel Baum on the «distraction» after Augsburg’s 2-2 vs Bayern

Manuel Baum, the FC Augsburg coach, became a frequent talking point after his side’s 2-2 draw with Bayern: he and his team were discussed more than usual. In his view, it’s not just a reflection of what happened, but something that can also have a negative effect on the squad.

The message is direct: when specific moments turn into constant chatter, they can end up disrupting focus and performance. After the Bundesliga match against Bayern, Baum warns that the noise around the game can become a distraction.
