Scottish striker Robbie Ure, 22, will undergo his medical at Sevilla on Monday to complete a £7.9m transfer from Swedish side IK Sirius.
Sevilla are on the verge of wrapping up the signing of striker Robbie Ure from Swedish club IK Sirius for £7.9 million. According to BBC Sport, the 22-year-old will have his medical at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on Monday and sign a five-year deal.
Ure has been a revelation in the Allsvenskan this season: 20 goals and three assists in 20 matches, with a total of 31 goals and seven assists across 50 appearances since joining Sirius a year ago. His 15 league goals have been instrumental in propelling the Swedish side to the top of the table with a commanding 13-point lead.
The striker started his career at Rangers, where he made just one appearance, before a brief spell at Belgian outfit Anderlecht proved unsuccessful. Sweden is where he has truly flourished. Internationally, the former Scotland under-19 has not committed to a nation despite being eligible for Ukraine, but recently told BBC Scotland he favours a call-up to the Tartan Army.
