As Mundo Deportivo notes, the Nations League opener is scheduled around the 24 September clash in Amsterdam versus the Netherlands, with the rest of the games on 27 September (Greece), 1 October (Serbia) and 4 October (Greece again).

Mundo Deportivo also underlines the form behind the recall: Adeyemi has two goals and one assist in 202 minutes across six matches for Barça, while for Germany’s senior team he has 11 appearances and one goal—the same competition context where he previously debuted on 5 September 2021 against Armenia under Hansi Flick.

Ter Stegen also in the mix

The report adds that Marc ter Stegen is expected to be part of Klopp’s first squad. The goalkeeper missed the World Cup due to surgery in February on his left hamstring, and Mundo Deportivo says that, per Bild, Klopp has already contacted him to explain his desire for him to be the starting choice, after seven games as a starter for Michel’s team.
