Aguirre checks Valencia’s injury list: Diakhaby trains with group

Javier Aguirre completed his second training session in charge of Valencia this Friday at the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna, with Mouctar Diakhaby back in the group for the first part. As reported by Mundo Deportivo, there was also progress for Julián Walter Zimmermann: the central continues recovering from an adductor long injury on his left leg suffered at the start of September against Barcelona.

The rest of the injured squad trained separately: César Tárrega, Umar Sadiq, Dimitri Foulquier, José Copete, Diego López and Sergi Canós all worked individually on site.

Valencia will finish the week with a session on Saturday, then take Sunday off and return to work on Monday. That day, Aguirre’s official presentation is also scheduled at Mestalla. The team’s return to competition will be on October 11 against Racing Santander at El Sardinero.
