Alejandro Ojaos Valera to referee Córdoba CF vs Tenerife on Monday

Referee Alejandro Ojaos Valera (Cartagena, 1992) has been appointed to officiate Córdoba CF’s 2026-27 eighth match against Tenerife. The game will take place next Monday at Estadio Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel at 20:30, according to Sport.

At 34, Ojaos Valera has refereed uninterrupted for the past six seasons and has handled 73 matches: 404 yellow cards (an average of 5.53 per game) and 24 red-card dismissals (0.33 per match). His results record includes 34 home wins, 20 draws and 19 away wins.

Previous meetings with Córdoba

He has already refereed Córdoba CF on four occasions: the record stands at one win, one draw and two defeats. Both losses came last season, against UD Las Palmas (1-3) and at Burgos (4-0). It will be the first time he referees a Tenerife match.

At VAR will be Barcelona referee Rubén Ávalos Barrera (39 years old).
