Alex Lebarbier debuts in a European squad with Real Sociedad
He’s added to the Europa League trip to Norway for tomorrow’s clash vs Lillestrøm, covering for Yangel Herrera’s calf issue.
Real Sociedad have added Alex Lebarbier to their Europa League squad for the trip to Norway this Wednesday, with the team set to play tomorrow against Lillestrøm. The French midfielder—who was previously called up for the Málaga match and was in doubt—comes in to fill a spot in the lineup.
Lebabrier remains in the squad because Yangel Herrera isn’t fit in time. The Venezuelan is still dealing with calf problems, didn’t train again at Zubieta and will miss the trip to Norway. He’s expected to wait at least one more match before returning, though his next chance could come in the fixture against Levante.
The squad also sees the return of Pablo Marín after serving his league suspension, taking the place of Gorka Carrera, who drops out compared to the Málaga game. The third goalkeeper is Folgado instead of Fraga. Injuries keep Odriozola, Aramburu and Beitia out.
