Bournemouth are bracing for a new move in January with Alex Scott (Bournemouth), after the Daily Mail put a transfer fee “around €120m”. The 23-year-old had already attracted the Chelsea interest, with the club making three attempts and even placing €80m on the table before the Bournemouth decision to say no.
Now, Scott is said to have made his desire to leave clear to his club for this winter window, with the Liverpool linked to a possible bid as well. The key obstacle would be the price, described as too steep.
It fits a Premier League market used to deals above €100m, highlighted this summer by moves such as Enzo Fernández to Manchester City (€145m) and Morgan Rogers to Chelsea (€138m).
