Álvaro Fidalgo returns from Mexico as almost the full Betis squad is fit vs Osasuna

Betis host Osasuna on Sunday at La Cartuja with only Junior Firpo (about three weeks) and Ruibal still missing.

Álvaro Fidalgo, Real Betis midfielder, is back in group training after playing for Mexico and will be available for the league match on Sunday at La Cartuja against Osasuna (eighth round). He joins the squad as the last international to return, following the late-September/early-October international break.

With Fidalgo back, Manuel Pellegrini has nearly his whole squad. Only Junior Firpo remains sidelined with a muscle injury, expected to miss around three weeks. Aitor Ruibal, still recovering after surgery on the outer meniscus and out since May, is progressing but will need a few more training sessions before returning to competition.

Betis aim to extend their strong home record: they have won all their matches at home so far this season. With Diego Llorente and Bartra already recovered and the rest of the internationals back, Pellegrini will have to make cuts for the team selection and decide whether to include Carlos de Roa, the left-back from the youth setup, after tomorrow’s training. Pellegrini will hold his official pre-match press conference this morning.
