Álvaro Núñez (Celta) out of the European match with a left adductor injury

Álvaro Núñez, Celta Vigo’s winger, won’t be available for this Thursday’s European game against Celtic. He picked up the issue during training on Tuesday, with a problem in the adductor of his left leg.

In the next few hours he’s scheduled for imaging tests to determine how serious it is, although it’s already expected that he’ll miss both the Europa League match and the following league fixture against Real Betis.

The setback adds to the troubles for coach Claudio Giráldez, who is already without Borja Iglesias, Carl Starfelt, Miguel Román, Jones El-Abdellaoui and Pablo Durán, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
