Amadou Diawara could return for Leganés vs Almería

Leganés head into Sunday’s LaLiga Hypermotion trip to Almería with a potential boost: coach Rubén Albés said there’s a “probable” chance for midfielder Amadou Diawara to be available. Speaking on Friday in a press conference, Albés added that Rubén Peña remains out, while Enric Franquesa and Álvaro Tejero have trained normally during the week.

Franquesa and Tejero were already included in the squad for the last match, the 4-0 defeat at Cádiz. Diawara, meanwhile, has not been able to play this season due to injury. “We keep the loss of Rubén Peña and probably recover Diawara…”, Albés said, pointing out that the returns increase the options to shape the starting XI for the game.
