Antonio Casas sets the tone: Sporting aim to make a statement vs Celta Fortuna
After the Oviedo derby, the Sporting forward says the game was decided by “details” and wants three points on Sunday at 16:15.
Antonio Casas, a forward for Sporting, insists the derby against Oviedo was decided “by details” and is already focused on the league match this Sunday versus Celta Fortuna (16:15) at El Molinón. The striker admits the loss stings more than usual, but stresses that the points at stake are “the same” as in the derby.
In his own critique, Casas points to improvements needed in “small details, markers and duels,” arguing the outcome could have been different if Sporting handled those moments better. He also notes he is not yet at full sharpness, explaining his transition after training alone with a readaptador.
With Celta Fortuna, he expects an “intense” game and says Sporting’s response must be clear on the pitch: “we’re going to bounce back, make a statement,” and deliver a win for their fans.
