Antonio Conte denies advanced talks with linked clubs

Antonio Conte has clarified his situation regarding his next job after links to clubs including Manchester United and Juventus. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian coach says there are currently “no negotiations at an advanced stage.”

In his statement, Conte points to his spell in charge of Napoli as “wonderful and successful” and says he will take the time he needs to decide “how and when” to return to management. He also rejects reports about alleged financial demands or requests for full control, as well as claims about his “strong personality.”

Conte adds that only if a concrete opportunity arises would he hold discussions with the relevant club and consider the terms of a potential agreement. Until then, he insists any assumptions about his future remain speculation.
