Antonio Sánchez (Mallorca): “You can’t leave your happiness…”
The Mallorca midfielder talks about Luis García’s approach, the Eibar match and a special return vs Leganés.
Antonio Sánchez, Mallorca’s midfielder, believes his momentum has come from a process rather than luck, and says: “One can’t leave their happiness in the hands of something they don’t control.” After settling into a holding role, he claims Luis García brought a “new idea” that will become clearer as time passes.
When asked about how he deals with criticism, he stresses the responsibility to keep his level regardless of minutes. He also revisits the Eibar game: he says it didn’t look so obvious live, but the images in the dressing room changed the perception, and he argues they’ve moved on from those penalties.
Reunion with Dani Rodríguez
This Saturday, Mallorca face Leganés and Sánchez looks forward to seeing Dani Rodríguez again. “I’m really looking forward to it,” he says, adding he expects a tough duel because Dani is ultra-competitive.
