Athletic have their Copa debut date: 29 September at 9pm
Athletic start Copa on 29 September at 9:00 pm and will face the winner of Sant Rafel-Prat, decided this Sunday.
Athletic will play their first Copa match on Thursday 29 September, with kickoff set for 9:00 pm, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Their opponent will come from the Sant Rafel-Prat tie, decided on Sunday. After the first leg in Ibiza, Prat hold a big advantage thanks to a 1-5 win. That means Athletic may have to travel to the artificial surface of the Barcelona side.
The Athletic won’t play on the 27th because their Getafe match at San Mamés is scheduled for the 25th, and not on the 28th due to the annual supporters’ assembly. In the rest of the round, Sestao River host Espanyol on Tuesday 27 (19:00) and Portugalete-Real Unión (19:00), Amorebieta-UD Logroñés (20:00) and Barakaldo-Reus (20:30) are set for Wednesday.
