Athletic: Sancet and Nico join Terzic’s injury list
The midfielder has a moderate left soleus injury and, alongside Nico Williams, could miss at least Rayo and Valencia.
Athletic Club head to Vallecas next Saturday with two absences: Sancet has suffered a moderate injury to the left soleus, while Nico Williams remains sidelined.
As MARCA reports, Sancet did not train the day before the issue and has now started his recovery, but the forecast is that he will miss at least the games versus Rayo and Valencia. To play the postponed match against Levante, he still needs further rehabilitation hours.
Nico picked up the injury in his last international appearance on September 29. The club has not set target return dates in its medical updates, yet it is considered likely he will also miss the fixtures against Rayo and Valencia. The soleus is described as tricky to recover from, with under 10 days to cover those matches.
