Atlético arrive in Stuttgart aiming for Champions League win No. 2
This Tuesday they face VfB Stuttgart after beating Manchester. Atlético bring 1,100 travelling supporters to a 60,058-seat MHPArena.
Atlético de Madrid are already in Germany ahead of their Tuesday Champions League clash at VfB Stuttgart in Matchday 3 of the league phase. Diego Simeone’s side want a second win after beating Manchester at the Metropolitano, following a opening defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
They won’t be alone in Stuttgart: 1,100 Atlético supporters will be in the MHPArena, though fewer than the travelling crowd at Anfield a few weeks ago.
The MHPArena, which holds 60,058 fans, is expected to be sold out, with the German club saying no tickets will be sold at the box office and urging supporters to use public transport to reach the stadium in Bad Cannstatt.
