Atlético renews with Vithas as medical sponsor for 2026/27

The club extends its healthcare deal: Vithas stays on for the men’s and women’s first teams and the B sides.

Atlético de Madrid and Vithas have agreed to renew their deal, keeping the group as official medical services sponsor for the 2026/27 season. The partnership will continue providing full coverage for players and the coaching staff of both the men’s and women’s first teams, as well as the first squads of their youth sides.

Vithas has been running these services since 2023/24, through the Vithas/Invictum High-Performance Sports Medicine Centre, at Vithas Madrid university hospitals Arturo Soria and Vithas Madrid Aravaca. The medical service is led by doctor José Silberberg, with a team of 15 doctors and 12 healthcare professionals.

The club underlined continuity. Óscar Mayo, Atlético’s Director General of Revenue and Operations, said the renewal will let the teams keep “maximum quality” healthcare supported by a high-profile medical staff. Vithas CEO Pedro Rico thanked Atlético for the confidence, stressing the professionals’ experience to cover players’ “needs, performance and health,” according to Mundo Deportivo.
