Atlético sell Amaiur to Juventus

Atlético de Madrid Femenino have confirmed an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Amaiur Sarriegi (25). The Basque forward is set to continue her career in Serie A after just over a season with the Rojiblancas.

As explained by Atlético in its official statement, Sarriegi joined the club in the summer of 2025 from Real Sociedad. During her time in Madrid she played 43 matches and scored 10 goals, with appearances across Liga F, the Women’s Champions League, the Copa de la Reina and the Supercopa de España.

A key change up front

Her departure will require Atlético to re-shape their attacking options, both for rotation and for goal output. For Juventus, the signing adds a forward with recent experience in top European competitions.

Atlético points to the breakdown: 28 Liga F games, nine Women’s Champions League fixtures, five Copa de la Reina appearances and one Supercopa of Spain match. The club also thanks her for her work and commitment and wishes her “luck in her new professional challenge”, as stated in the farewell message.
