Axel Hellmann pushes Eintracht Frankfurt stadium plans toward 2035

Axel Hellmann, president of Eintracht Frankfurt, wants to speed up the stadium’s long-term planning with 2035 as the target horizon. He argues that the Frankfurter Stadtwald Arena, inaugurated in 2005, is moving into its final decade.

On top of that, large infrastructure projects in Germany often come with a long ramp-up period. With those two factors in mind, Hellmann is pushing the club to force the future plans forward, as reported by kicker.
