Barça begin Champions League title defence at Paris FC

As Mundo Deportivo notes, the debut arrives with a clear message from inside the squad: the title won last spring is already in the past, and the goal now is to rebuild the path from the first game.

Barça come into the tie backed by recent dominance: they reached seven of the last eight finals and have four continental trophies. In Oslo, they lifted the crown after beating OL Lyonnes—led by Michele Kang—4-0 in the final. Up front, the offensive plan remains anchored by Ewa Pajor, who—according to Mundo Deportivo—enters her third European season and sees Varsovia as the final horizon.

The newspaper also includes Romeu’s quote: “The Ballon d’Or should be won by a Barça player.” Pajor added: “I want to play many more years in Barça.”
