Barça steamrolls: 4.3 goals per game and 262 projected for 2026-27

After eight LaLiga matchdays and two Champions League league-phase games, Barça would total 262 goals at a 4.3 average if they reached all three finals.

After eight LaLiga matchdays and two games in the Champions League league phase, Barça are averaging 4.3 goals per match in 2026-27. Mundo Deportivo runs a near-impossible scenario: if Barça reached the finals of the Spanish Super Cup, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League (no preliminary round before the Round of 16), they would play 61 official games and finish with 262 goals.

Beyond the math, the story so far is how the team handles moments. Out of 10 wins, they’ve also responded quickly when opponents score first, with three cited comebacks: Rayo Vallecano (5-2), Sevilla (1-3) and Galatasaray (1-4).

Raphinha is the top scorer with 14 goals: 12 in LaLiga to lead the Pichichi, plus 2 in the Champions League. He has them in just eight appearances because of an injury that kept him out of the last two matches vs Getafe and Galatasaray. Mundo Deportivo adds that he looks set to be available for Betis-Barça this Saturday, ahead of the big clashes vs PSG and Real Madrid.

Ten players have already scored: Lamine Yamal (8), Fermín López (5), Karim Adeyemi (4), Gabriel Jesus (3), Anthony Gordon (2) and Joao Cancelo (2), plus goals from Pedri González, Jules Koundé and Xavi Espart. Cancelo and Gordon also forced own goals by Villalibre and Lejeune against Racing and Rayo.
