FC Barcelona remains in Seville after its squad plane failed to take off early in the morning from the Prat because of weather conditions, forcing the team to spend the night in the Spanish city following its win at La Cartuja, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The plan is to fly later today, aiming for a 12:00 departure, but it hinges on securing a landing slot at Seville’s airport. If that doesn’t happen, a direct trip to Paris for the Champions League match on Tuesday is still on the table.
The party waited three hours on the aircraft before returning to the concentration hotel. With the schedule disrupted, Hansi Flick now has to adjust training plans, including a session that had been set for 11:00 at the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despí.
