Barcelona vs Real Madrid Clásico: up to 40 cameras
LaLiga is planning an A+ setup at the Camp Nou, with between 35 and 40 cameras for the match on Sunday.
The Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou will feature up to 40 cameras, as Mundo Deportivo reports. The setup is part of LaLiga’s A+ category for the highest-profile matches.
For the usual “type A” games, the minimum on-pitch coverage is around 22 cameras. For this style of fixture, the number rises to a range of 35 to 40 camera points, with support from CTA and VAR to provide detailed information on what’s happening during play.
The broadcast also adds extras such as super lenses and cinematic angles in 4K, plus cameras aimed at close, exhaustive player tracking—particularly Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé.
