Barcelona will report PSG’s ‘Massacre à la parisienne’ tifo to UEFA
According to Sport, Barça says the PSG ultras’ offensive tifo should be reviewed by UEFA after PSG-Barça ended 4-2.
FC Barcelona is set to report PSG’s pre-match tifo to UEFA after the PSG-Barça Champions League clash this Tuesday night. The Barça leadership, as Sport puts it, felt the “Massacre à la parisienne” display was violent and offensive.
The banner by the Collectif Ultras Paris showed a blood-covered Leatherface wearing a “Hechter” shirt and slicing up the blue-and-red Barça crest with a chain device right before kickoff. The Catalan paper says Barça has decided to notify UEFA, with the aim of determining whether sanctions could come for PSG and its fans.
On the pitch, the match had no incidents and the result was a 4-2 win for PSG.
