Barcelona will wear orange in Paris after UEFA request
UEFA and broadcasters asked the club to avoid all current-season kits and use last year’s orange set at Parc des Princes vs PSG.
Barcelona will play in orange at the Parc des Princes against PSG, according to Mundo Deportivo. UEFA and the TV production asked the club not to use any kit from the current season to prevent visibility issues.
That rules out the first option, the blue-and-red home strip, and also the alternatives. The second kit (black and purple) is viewed as too close to PSG’s colours, while the third (blue) could also confuse viewers.
The orange kit is not unfamiliar this term: the Barça already wore it in pre-season in the friendly at the Sankt Jakob-Park versus Basel, winning 2-5. Hansi Flick will make the call tomorrow, as the report adds.
