Bayern host Arsenal: Olise banned and Musiala injured

Bayern take on Arsenal in Munich with Michael Olise missing through suspension and Jamal Musiala sidelined by injury. The home side arrive after a 2-2 draw against Viking, a result that left them on 4 points and facing the need to recover.

Olise out, Kompany in doubt

Olise was sent off the previous Tuesday, picking up two bookings versus Viking, the second after sending the ball into Zlatko Tripic’s face. On the bench question, Aaron Danks said Vincent Kompany stayed away from training and the press conference because of a virus, adding that his return depends on how long he needs, without confirming whether it will be tomorrow or in two to three days.

Kane’s goal run vs Arsenal’s form

Arsenal come in with a stronger run: they won both of their recent games, 0-1 at Napoli and 3-0 at Lille. The visitors’ only confirmed absence is winger Christos Tzolis. The main threat for Bayern is Harry Kane, with nine goals in his first ten matches for the club this season and three in the Champions League so far, including two against Viking.
