Betis get Bartra, Parrott, Abde and Morante back for Osasuna
Pellegrini has four returns for Sunday’s La Cartuja clash (18:30) as Betis starts its build-up after the international week.
Real Betis restarted training with good news for Manuel Pellegrini: Marc Bartra, Troy Parrott, Ez Abde and Morante trained with the group in the first session of the week as the team began preparing for Sunday’s league match against Osasuna at La Cartuja (18:30).
Bartra’s return confirms he has recovered from the discomfort that forced him off during Betis’ game at Riazor against Deportivo. Parrott, Abde and Morante also came back after playing and scoring for their respective national teams: Ireland, Morocco and Spain Under-20. Aitor Ruibal participated in the opening of the session.
Junior, meanwhile, is already in Seville but the club is still waiting to learn the extent of the muscle injury he picked up against Haiti. Several other internationals have not joined up yet: Fran García, Facundo Bernal, Manu González, Ángel Ortiz, Lo Celso and Valentín Gómez. Álvaro Fidalgo remains out too, and the session also included academy players Rodrigo Marina and Borja Alonso. The Osasuna game kicks off a tough run of nine matches in 28 days until the next international break.
