Bibi Schulze ruled out for Athletic with a moderate muscle injury

Athletic will be without Bibi Schulze for their home match at Lezama against Valencia. The club’s medical report states she has “a moderate muscle injury in the left biceps femoris (hamstring)”.

Schulze, who typically plays as a central defender or left back, is one of Víctor Martín’s regular starters. With the injury, he won’t be able to count on her for the immediate fixture.

On a more positive note, the coach hopes to have back for Saturday Clara Pinedo, Nanclares and Astralaga, returning to Lezama after playing for the Spain national team in two friendlies against the USA. As Mundo Deportivo reports, Pinedo started in the second match and performed well.
