Bordalás sets warning: Barça “one of the best” in Camp Nou visit

José Bordalás, Getafe coach, said this Friday that FC Barcelona are “one of the best teams in the league, and even in Europe”, highlighting that their edge comes especially without the ball. He spoke ahead of Getafe’s Saturday trip to the Spotify Camp Nou (18:30, DAZN).

Bordalás pointed to Barcelona’s ability to repeat runs and press after losing possession “like no one else”, and he demanded concentration from his side, particularly when trying to escape Barça’s pressure. “You need composure to get out of their press and read the match,” he added, insisting on: “Don’t make gross mistakes.” He also referenced Getafe’s early red cards, saying being left a man down has been a “drain” in the league start.

On individuals, Bordalás argued that even if Raphinha were unavailable, it “wouldn’t be a problem” thanks to alternatives, despite calling the winger’s current form “incredible”. He praised the squad’s depth and showed optimism about Martín Satriano, who trained normally after returning with discomfort, while also telling Borja Mayoral he must raise his game: “He knows he has to step up.” “We’ll try to keep enjoying football and give joy to our fans,” he concluded.
