Borussia Mönchengladbach beat Stuttgart 2-3 for their first Bundesliga win
After losing their first six matches, Gladbach staged a comeback and earned their first win of the season with a 2-3 at Stuttgart.
Borussia Mönchengladbach picked up a 2-3 win at VfB Stuttgart this Friday, their first Bundesliga points after six straight losses. The match started badly for the club: Ermedin Demirovic put Stuttgart ahead in the sixth minute.
The game swung before half-time. Joe Scally, scoring his third goal of the season, leveled seven minutes before the break. Early in the second half, Shuto Machino made it 1-2 just six minutes in, and Wael Mohya sealed the result with a header in the middle of the second half.
Demirovic pulled one back with seven minutes to go, but it wasn’t enough. Stuttgart drop to 14th on goal difference, a point above the relegation spots, while Mönchengladbach remain bottom.
