Bournemouth beat AC Milan 3-0 with Adli as Milan go down to 10
Amine Adli made it 3-0 and AC Milan finished with 10 after Mike Maignan’s sending off in the Europa League.
Bournemouth sealed a historic 3-0 win over AC Milan thanks to goals from Marcus Tavernier, Justin Kluivert and a decisive strike by Amine Adli. The game swung after Mike Maignan was sent off, leaving the Italians with 10 men and giving the hosts the route to finish strongly.
The red card changed it
AC Milan captain and goalkeeper Mike Maignan saw red for pushing both hands into Tyler Adams’ face at a corner. That call earned Bournemouth a second penalty, which Tavernier converted after Kluivert had already scored the first spot-kick to make it 1-0.
Amine Adli then capped the night with a free-kick to round it off at 3-0. Sky Sports reports the result is a big scalp for Bournemouth, especially given Milan’s status as a seven-time European champion, and keeps their impressive start in their first-ever European campaign.
