Four Manchester United players are set to see their contracts run out at the end of the season, with the next step depending on extension options. As Fabrizio Romano reports, Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martínez both have an option to extend their deal for another year.
The same mechanism applies to Harry Maguire, who also has the option of a further season, while Luke Shaw’s deal is also due to end with his future still to be decided.
The club’s task now is to sort out which clauses get triggered and which contracts end when the campaign finishes.
