Carl Starfelt and Miguel Román out about a month and a half for Celta

The international break left four injured players at Celta: Starfelt and Román will be out roughly 6 weeks, with others doubtful for Elche.

The league break has left Carl Starfelt and Miguel Román as two confirmed absences at Celta Vigo: both are expected to miss around a month and a half, and the club is already counting the games without them.

As MARCA reports, Starfelt picked up the injury with his national team—an injury involving a tendon in the right thigh—keeping him out for around six weeks. Román suffered the problem in Vigo, was operated on his right knee, and is set to be unavailable for between a month and a month and a half.

Celta also has Radu with shoulder discomfort, who is not expected to miss the trip to Elche this Sunday. Sebastián Cáceres has pubis problems and is listed as doubtful for the same match.

On top of those, Jones El-Abdellaoui is recovering after left-knee surgery carried out days before the break, while Iago Aspas is targeting a quick return after the fibrous tear he suffered just over three weeks ago.
