Carreira, Álvaro Núñez and Aleix Febas face their old Elche on Sunday

Celta Vigo travel to Elche this Sunday to restart their league campaign, with Sergio Carreira (Celta Vigo), Álvaro Núñez (Celta Vigo) and Aleix Febas (Celta Vigo) set to play against the team they know well.

Carreira spent his third loan spell at Elche before settling into Celta’s first team more than two years ago, tallying 23 official matches for the club.

Álvaro Núñez left Elche in the past January transfer window. After a year and a half there—59 official appearances and 2 goals—he has hit his best form since joining Celta eight months ago.

Febas will face his former side for the first time since leaving last summer. Recovered from the physical issues he had at the start of the season, he played 117 official games for Elche and scored four, according to MARCA.
