Claudia Pina destroys Real Madrid with a four-goal burst

The women’s Clásico at Camp Nou will be remembered for a historic stat: Claudia Pina (FC Barcelona) scored four goals against Real Madrid in 45 minutes, all in the first half, on the way to a 7-0 win. With that haul, Pina joined the very short list of players who have managed a four-goal match versus the visitors.

Across almost 127 years of Barça history, only three male players had previously hit four in a game against Madrid: Josep Samitier (1926) and Martí Ventolrà (1935), each delivering a póquer in their respective Clasico contests, and Eulogio Martínez (1957), who netted four in the Camp Nou 6-1 during the Copa del Generalísimo quarter-finals.

The piece also points to a prior women’s case: Asisat Oshoala, who scored four against Real Madrid in 2020, in a match played when the side was still registered under the name CD Tacón.
