Club Brugge secure a 3-0 win over Lens to make it two straight wins
Club Brugge beat Lens 3-0 with goals from Vanaken, Seys and Forbs in another Champions League outing.
Club Brugge KV beat Lens 3-0 to claim their second straight Champions League win, at the Giuseppe Meazza. As Mundo Deportivo reports, Lens created more chances, but Brugge’s efficiency in limited moments decided the contest.
The key moment came just before the break: Vanaken scored at the end of the first half after Seys took a free kick and Nicolo Tresoldi nodded it down. Early in the second half, Seys made it 2-0 after Forbs and Lemaréchal combined on the wing.
The match was sealed in the 72nd minute. A measured counterattack ended with a pass from Vetlesen and the finish by Forbs, while Lens failed to claw it back. Thauvin had a chance around the hour mark, but Sommer kept the lead intact with another stop, including a top save after Kadile’s header.
